Sing Online!!!

That's right, now you can sing online. For those of you who don't know, there are different software programs that now allow you to do so. I've added, for your entertainment, a section to my website devoted to this. I'm sure I'll be adding more things to this as this is just the beginning stages. But in the meantime - Enjoy!

A dictionary that sings???

Thats' right. This is a site that has a listing of song titles where, once you click the red sound button, you can hear certain songs being sung by what sounds like your computer. What you're actually hearing is audio clips from online dictionaries - but they sound like they're singing.

Off beat site...but interesting.

Go here and hear:

Fun Singing Website!

Hey there!

Have you been practicing? Are your vocal chords getting tired??? Give them a rest. Let someone else do the singing for you. This is a really interesting website I came up on. You type in the words you want to hear sang and the system sings it right back to you. What it does is put words of different
popular songs together from a whole slew of singers and has it play back to you.

Here's the sight:

Let them sing it for you

Gotta run -

Keep singing (or listening)

Offering your talents to others

Yes -- I'm still alive. I had a busy couple of weeks and have finally got a second to write here.

Well, I had a great time this past Friday singing at the Texas Children's Hospital. Carol Herron, who runs their Arts program for the kids was a great help to me and has asked me to return. I'm definitely going to do that. Being able to help others in whatever capacity I can, is more than sufficient compensation for myself. I've said it before, but I truly believe we are all here to help one another, and not for our own wants.

Just a note that if you too are looking for somewhere to start....Volunteer yourself. Look for festivals or organizations that need entertainment or might like it. Yeah, you won't get paid -- But the reward far outweighs that. Plus...you get to practice singing. And if that's what you shine at best -- Go for it!

Google up festivals in your local area or state. You can find it if you search. Here in Texas, as an example, the state has a site that tells you of upcoming events that are looking for music and singers.

Sing online

Hey guys! Found 2 sites that you might all be interested in using. Both sights allow you to choose karaoke music from their extensive library of songs and then record yourself singing. All you need is a microphone and a USB chord and you're on stage in your own home! Great for practicing. All you have to do is sign up and you'll get a trial time period to use it. If you like it, go ahead and purchase some time on it.

Let me know if you get on there and record yourself so I can hear you. I'll let you know of my recordings too. (I'll show you mine if you show me yours.)

OK....

Have a great one!

Singing with a Cold?

Ok...so I had a feeling this was going to happen.

Too many people around me have been sick.

And it so it follows.

I got a cold.

A nasty, runny nose, eyes tearing up, scratchy throat cold.

Yeah..

That got me to thinking. What does one do when they have to have to sing with a cold? Get a Rhinoplasty? Get a stand in? Well, here's a clue....click on the link and I'll tell you more.

I'm going to get me some juice.
